Privacy · deliberately uneventful

No trackers. No ads. No data collection.

Answer first: CashFerret is a static website with no analytics, advertising pixels, sign-up forms, user accounts, comments, or first-party cookies. We do not ask for or store personal information through this site. Basic connection records may still be processed temporarily by the web host to deliver pages and protect the server.

Information we do not collect

CashFerret does not provide registration, newsletters, contact forms, comment boxes, quizzes, calculators that submit data, or payment features. We therefore do not intentionally collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, mailing addresses, financial account details, budgets, app credentials, or payment information through this website. Do not send sensitive financial information in response to anything claiming to be a CashFerret form; there is no such form on this site.

We do not use first-party analytics, session replay, heatmaps, fingerprinting, social-media pixels, advertising networks, affiliate tracking parameters, or cross-site profiling. We do not sell or rent visitor information. There is no hidden audience database behind the app scores.

What a web host may process

Any website needs infrastructure to receive a request and return a page. The hosting provider or network may temporarily process technical details such as an IP address, date and time, requested path, browser user-agent, referring address, response status, and security events. These records can be necessary for delivery, abuse prevention, availability, and troubleshooting.

CashFerret does not add scripts to turn those basic delivery records into visitor profiles. Retention and processing at the infrastructure layer depend on the current host’s operational settings and legal obligations. Because this publication is static and has no account system, those records are not joined to a CashFerret username, subscriber profile, or purchase history.

Cookies and local storage

CashFerret does not set cookies or write identifiers to browser local storage. The site does not need a consent pop-up because it does not use optional tracking technologies. Your browser, network, security software, or hosting edge may perform its own technical functions outside our control; consult those providers if you need details about their processing.

Links to app websites

Our articles link primarily to other CashFerret pages. If a future article links to an app store, developer, bank, or other external website, that destination operates under its own privacy policy and can receive ordinary referral information when you visit. A link is not permission for the destination to share your account activity with us. CashFerret does not receive app login details or bank connection data.

We review finance apps, but we do not operate them. Installing an app creates a separate relationship between you, the developer, the app store, and sometimes a bank-connection provider. Read the current in-app and store disclosures before connecting accounts. Our choosing guide lists the privacy and export questions we use during testing.

Children, regional rights, and requests

This publication is written for a general adult audience and does not knowingly collect information from children. Because there are no forms or accounts, CashFerret has no normal mechanism for receiving a child’s personal data. If a future interactive feature changes that fact, this policy will be revised before launch.

Privacy laws can provide rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to certain processing. CashFerret does not maintain a visitor-account dataset to search or export. Requests concerning infrastructure logs may need to be directed to the relevant hosting provider, depending on who controls the record. We will not ask you to send identity documents through an unverified channel.

Changes to this policy

If CashFerret adds analytics, advertising, forms, accounts, cookies, or another material data practice, this page will be updated before or when the feature launches, with a new effective date and plain explanation. We will not describe tracking as “strictly necessary” merely because it is commercially useful.

The practical promise

You can read every CashFerret article without creating an account, accepting an ad cookie, submitting a budget, or telling us who you are. No article is personalized from a secret profile, and no score changes according to browsing history. That is the entire design: useful app research without turning the reader into another dataset.
